The 2019 Mitsubishi RVR Crossover: Style, Economy, Convenience
July 23 2019, Dixie Mitsubishi
The Mitsubishi RVR is an economical and reliable crossover packed with generous standard equipment. Just recently refreshed, there are seven trims for the 2019 Mitsubishi RVR, some including All-Wheel Control (AWC), an upgraded engine, and many standard and optional technology and entertainment features.
The clean exterior of the RVR flows with smooth lines and sharp accents designed to reduce drag coefficiency. Each trim level offers an abundance of standard equipment we can only sample here. The base ES FWD integrates LED running lamps, tires designed for all seasons, front bumper chrome accents, black wheel arches, heated mirrors, and more.
The FWD and AWC SE model add on 16-inch alloy wheels, privacy glass, and specially-designed fog lamps. The AWC Limited trim includes Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) and more safety technologies. If you love dark colours, the AWC Black Edition coats your vehicle’s body and accents in Labrador Black. Both GT models upgrade exterior heating equipment and add a panoramic sunroof.
Two Efficient Engine Options in the 2019 Mitsubishi RVR
All trim levels through the AWC SE receive a 148-horsepower engine with a torque level of 145 lb.-ft. The four cylinder keeps fuel consumption low—only 7.8/9.7 litres per 100 km (highway/city)—and makes the RVR a great choice if you spend a lot of time on the road. You’ll feel fewer shifts with the RVR’s variable (CVT) transmission that eliminates gears. Beginning with the AWC Limited, a more powerful four cylinder upgrades the horsepower to 168 and the torque to 167 lb.-ft. This improvement also adds paddle shifters on the transmission to increase performance. Each AWC trim includes a drive mode selector with several options.
Interior Equipment in the 2019 Mitsubishi RVR
The RVR’s interior has more standard features than we can mention here. The base ES FWD features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for entertainment, a 9-airbag safety system, heated front seats, an anti-theft engine immobilizer, styled fabric appointments, and more. The SE FWD and AWC upgrade interior accents and safety alerts and warnings.
The SE Limited includes security features such as the FAST-Key keyless entry with push-buttons for ‘start’ and ‘panic alarm’. The AWC GT receives HomeLink connectivity and styling upgrades. Luxury appointments such as leather seating lead the GT Premium’s features.
